Privacy Policy

How BurjVPN handles your data, billing information, and VPN service operations.

Last updated: June 15, 2026

Overview

BurjVPN ("BurjVPN", "we", "us") provides virtual private network services through our website, client applications, and APIs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We are committed to a strict no-logs policy for VPN browsing activity. We do not monitor, record, or store the contents of your traffic, DNS queries, or destination websites while you are connected through our VPN.

Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to operate your account and deliver the service:

  • Account data: email address, display name, password hash, and role.
  • Billing data: subscription status, invoices, payment method metadata from Stripe or NOWPayments (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Device data: device name, hashed device fingerprint for trial abuse prevention, and last known IP for session management.
  • Support data: ticket subjects, messages, and priority when you contact us.
  • Technical data: server connection metadata required to route your VPN session (not your browsing history).

How We Use Your Information

  • Create and manage your account and subscription.
  • Authenticate you across web, desktop, and mobile clients.
  • Process payments and issue invoices.
  • Provide customer support and respond to contact requests.
  • Prevent trial abuse and protect platform integrity.
  • Maintain network performance and server health.

When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with trusted processors required to run BurjVPN, such as payment providers (Stripe, NOWPayments), email delivery providers for account and support messages, and infrastructure hosts that store encrypted data under our control.

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of BurjVPN, our users, or the public, but only to the minimum extent legally required.

Data Retention

We retain account and billing records while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Support tickets are retained to provide continuity of service. You may request account deletion by contacting support.

Security

Passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing. VPN connections use strong encryption protocols including Wireguard and StealthVPN. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us through the Contact page or your account support area.
